Brightauthor locking up!

Hi All. I have just stated using the latest version of brightauthor, 2.0.0.4. On my PC (XP) the software continually locks up about 30 seconds after it starts. I never had this issue with the previous version. Has andybody else had this problem? Any solutions? I am a bit stuck now as I don't have a copy of the previous version, and the new one is hopeless. HELP.....

    Do you mean version 2.0.0.44.

    When does it lockup? Can you post a screenshot of the error?

    I am having a problem with the software locking up, but on the actual Brightsign unit, not the software. I have had this issue happen both on the 210 and also on the 1010w. The images will display for about 15-20 seconds, then it just locks up/freezes. I have made sure the firmware is current and on the 1010W, I used the beta as well, still freezing. It requires a complete reboot - unplugging the unit to reset.

    Any ideas?

    When you say it freezes, does the image stay on the screen? Is the red error light flashing?

    If your images are too big, one or more of them won't display. Please verify none of your images are over 1920x1080.

    The images are all smaller than 1920x1080. The red light does not flash, it will just display a few images, then freeze. I unplug the unit and reconnect and it will rotate a few images, then freeze again. Latest software and latest firmware on the 1010W.
