Controlling projector via rs232 from a HD810

Is it possible to set up a HD810 to send rs232-commands at specific times with BrightAuthor? I would like to start a projector via rs232 at a certain time, loop a film during the day and then shut the projector down in the evening with another rs232 command from the HD810.

    Yes..

    There's a video tutorial on our website called controls that covers this. If your project requires hex commands, then you need to use the sendbyte command, and send the decimal equivalent of the hex values you need to send to your projector.

    You would schedule a project, and the only thing that the project would do is send this command. You can attach commands to files very easily. So, you could use a blank issue.
