Yes, just the description. You need the titles as well. This can be added via customization of the autorun script for brightauthor. How should it appear?

    Hi,

Lets say I have a RSS Feed which has this:

NASA Astronaut Cady Coleman, Jethro Tull's Ian Anderson Perform First Space-Earth Flute Duet

Harmony reached new heights recently as NASA astronaut Cady Coleman, circling Earth aboard the International Space Station, and musician Ian Anderson, founder of the rock band Jethro Tull, collaborated for the first space-Earth duet.

So the display would be Title in one size of font, then the publication date in slight smaller and then the description.......??

Thanks Again - Just getting used it to, once started I will be fine.

I can't use two different font sizes in the same text zone currently. So, the title would have to be in a different text zone. Does that work?

    Hi,

Two text zones isn't a problem that I can see...

    Thanks

I've managed to get the RSS feed displaying both title and description by altering the autorun.brs file shown in another forum. But, I'd really like to do two more things:

    1. Have the title display on line 1, with the description on line 3 onwards (I have set the ticker zone to have 5 lines).

    2. Underline the title.

If either or both of these is possible, could you tell me how I can do it? Apologies but I am really new to this and am very keen to put these devices in a multitude of my outlets.

    Many thanks

The ticker zone has no such breakdown. It's just one paragraph. The rotext widget doesn't let you do that. You'd have to use html on one of the html capable players. You could use livetext instead, and have multiple individual lines. You wouldn't get the animated typing.

By the way, if you're using brightauthor 3.5 or later, you can use a parser plugin to do what you're doing, putting both title and description into the database. The benefit of the plugin is you don't need a custom autorun, and it will work with any brightuathor version that supports this kind of plugin.
