24 button control for HD1010

hello, i need to realize a 24 button control for a HD1010. each button should start a dedicated movieclip. do the HD1010 support 24 button boards? do i need a special extension board? do i have both possibilities: button push plays a clip - next push waits for end of first clip OR buttonpush starts directly the selected clip - from home also as from another selected clip - and interrupts the current clip. thanks in advance.

    Yes, the unit is flexible when playing back. A script will be needed if you want a button press to be delayed until the end of the script. I don't quite understand how the videos are chosen based on your description. Is there a fixed order for playback?

    For the buttons, do you  need any gpio output, for leds, or just all inputs? You could use the 8 onboard, plus the expander, which gives you another 18. That would get you the 24 you needed.

    The expander only works with the 1010 and 810, so you're fine there as well.

    perfect - so it should work with the expander. i only need to attache 24 buttons to the player.

    the idea is, to have a button for each (of the 24) clip, but we need to be flexible to chose if we want to wait until playback of one clip or if we interrupt the current clip, when a button is pushed.
