how to set HD110 resolution?

I am working with a HD110 with the latest firmware. I am playing a video that is 1080p24 via HDMI connected to a projector. I have simply placed the video on the card with no script. I am experiencing two issues: 1- The HD110 starts up and plays fine but is setting the resolution of 1080p60. It seems it is choosing the highest resolution supported by the projector, but I think it would be best to use either 1080p29.97 or 1080p50. How do I force the HD110 to either of these resolutions? 2- When the image is displayed through the projector, it seems to be cropping about 5% of the image at the bottom and just showing black.

You need to use our brightauthor software to publish a project and set the resolution that way, or you can write a script that sets the resolution.

If there's cropping, you should check if there's some overscan setting you can set on the projector. With the brightauthor software, you can have the brightsign adjust for overscan when you create the project.

I followed your suggestions and have gained control of resolution settings through BA.  However, I still have the cropping issue when using either 1080p60 or 1080p50.  The cropping does not happen when using 1080i60.
This is consistent with several of my video clips as well as the 1080p clips downloaded from your site.

The projector does not show any overscan.  When I connect a PC to the projector at 108060p, there is no cropping.

Also, I have built an identical project using a HD410 and the cropping does not occur at 1080p60 or any other resolution.

I believe my HD110 is malfunctioning.  Can I get an RMA or do you have any other suggestions?

I believe this issue is related to firmware v3.5.68.
The firmware on the HD110 is updated to v3.5.68
The firmware on the HD410 is v3.3.69 and works perfectly.
I just updated the HD410 to 3.5.68 to support .mov and it gives me the exact same issue as the HD110.  The bottom is clipped.

    How do I revert my 410 to 3.3.69 ?
I need to give a demo tomorrow!!

There's a firmware update coming to fix this clipping.
