Signchannel content types

Now that Brightsign has a Signchannel widget and Signchannel is providing options for inserting your own custom images, RSS abd video I am growing ever more excited about the options available. I haven't managed to make a video pass from my Signchannel account into my HD1010w yet. Is this a compatibility issue on my end or does the BA Signchannel widget even allow video to be inserted this way? I have great results with images and RSS.

    If you're using 2.2, then video is supported. I know there's some rewrite of the mrss code occuring, which might affect signchannel as well. In your signchannel feed, you just have images and videos mixed together? Can you test a feed of just videos in the signchannel?

    If your unit is running 3.5.x firmware, then you can play mov and mp4 h.264 videos.

    I am now able to program video and images into my Signchannel playlist and have it display on my HD1010w.

    I am getting some freezing in the video clips, though. Now and then the videos will just pause for a few seconds before continuing. I am using mpg2 files encoded CBR at around 5mbps.
