Request for help with unable to upgrade the firmware 3.7.44



Hi there, We are using multiple Brightsign Units HD1010 in local network. We have upgraded the latest firmware 3.7.44 by SD card and all are successfully working except one. We tried to format SD card and redo it few times but it is displaying "NO SIGNAL". Please help us if you have any idea. Cheers

    no signal doesn't mean it didn't update. When you powered up with the sd card and firmware, does the orange light on the front of the unit come on, does the firmware get deleted automatically after that orange light goes out?

    If the firmware looks to be installing, I would test if it's a video signal issue. Try setting to a resolution like 1360x768 that works over both vga and hdmi, and then test if you see a picture on either.

    thanks for your response, when we turned it on we can see only green light (power) is on and it never moves to any other lights. So I guess firmware is not installing. hope you can help.

    can you email support at brightsign.biz a screenshot of your flash card before you try the update. It could be the unit isn't seeing the flash card, in which case we would replace the unit if it' is a known good flash card. If you try to play some content on the flash card, some simple images, does that fail?
