Hi, I just had a client publish an schedule over the BSN, but they accidentally selected do not update on the firmware, but they should have selected the minimum firmware of 3.7.44, when a number of the units were still on 3.5.68 firmware. Now all the players are stuck and cannot connect. They've republished the schedule correctly, and are going to send put and put in blank cards in each so they will reconnect. Do you have any other advice? Thanks, Nathan

Did they update to brightauthor 2.3 and is that why they needed to update the firmware? Otherwise, I don't understand how the players were made to be stuck?

Under the tools menu, under advanced, and unit control, you can add the serial # of a unit, and choose that you want the unit to recover without a reformat, and then add the unit. ONce that's done, If you reboot the unit, it will redownload the currently published project, ignoring what's currently on the flash card.

Thanks, that worked great.  Is it documented that that advanced features work like that to bypass what it on the card? It certainly saved us a bunch of fedex fees for sending new cards out.
