I've been searching the forum but have not been able to find some easy answers to my questions. If this has been answered please point me to the right information.
- What software can I use to send UDP commands from Windows 7?
- What software can I use to send UDP commands from Mac OS X (Lion 10.7.3)
- Will the BrightSign 210 or 210w cross-fade or dissolve 2 video clips?
- I want to pause a video at random then play the next video in my playlist at the push of a button. Will there be black on the screen during that 'transition'? Is there a way to do a smooth transition for this?
- What is the latency between pressing a 'Play' button and the video appearing on screen, assuming my first frame of video is not black? Is it the same when I have 9 synced together?
I plan to provide 9 synchronized units for a large display array. Here's how the video presentation is going to play out if I can figure it out:
Attract video loop -> (pause) -> First video (play) -> First video (pause) -> Second video (play) -> Second video (pause) -> Third video (play) -> Attract video loop ->
I plan to trigger an HD1010 with a GPIO board and have the 1010 send out the commands to all the slaves. Problem is, I don't know what the video looks like when I do this because I do not have a 1010 in front of me, that's why I'm asking about the UDP commands from a computer.
Any input would be helpful. My apologies if this is elementary information that I've just skipped somehow.
Thanks.
