Republish an old project

I use simple file network to distribute my media. A few days ago I published a project but now I want to republish an older project.

Can I just take the files that I created using brightauthor  and put them back on my web server or do I have to rebuild a new project files and put them on the web server?

The BrightSign Player will check the web folder that you set up the player for at the interval that you determined when you set it up (Every 30 Minutes for example).

If the player is looking at folder "html://mysite.com/player5/" and that folder has the newer published content in it, and you delete that and replace with an older set of published files, the player will should see that there is a different current-sync.xml file, and then should download the contents of the folder, and play the older project the next time it is scheduled to check the web folder.

I don't think it has anything to do with date, just if the current-sync.xml file is different than what it already has.

    Hope this helps.

I tried the old files but apparently the units are ignoring them, any ideas?
