SD cards becoming corrupted

We have an installation with 23 Brightsign HD1020s all using the BSN.  We are using Lexar and Sandisk class 10 SD cards.  We are having issues with SD cards becoming corrupt after running for weeks or months.  Sometimes they can be recovered by reformatting and sometimes they are permanently damaged.  We are especially noticing the problem with firmware 4.4.75.

The client is dropping power to the Brightsigns every night.  Could this be causing the corruption?

No, power loss can't cause the corruption of SD card.

Are all 23 units playing the same presentation? Was the project created in BrightAuthor or WebUI? If it was created in BA, please attach the presentation file (.bpf file) to this thread.

When the problem starts, do the units go in a reboot cycle? Do the red Err lights blink on the side of the HD1020? If so, how many times does the red Err light blink?

A corrupted or improperly encoded video can cause a brightsign unit to crash. Make sure your videos meet our supported specs:

Some SD cards have poor controllers that don't like the same part of the card being read over and over again. It's called read fatigue. If that's the issue, it'll happen again to the same SD card. Please see this FAQ item:
