Brightsign App User Variables

I'm playing around with your BrightSign App on my iPhone, trying to get everything working correctly. Having a bit of trouble with the user variables setting through the app itself. Not sure if this is a beta issue or something I'm doing wrong.

The app finds the player fine and the action buttons and diagnostics are recognized, but under the variables tab on my phone I am just getting the error: "404 not found Missing Handler". I can get to (and set) the variables through both the computer and phone web browsers, just not the app itself. All other functions of the app are working properly.

I'm using an XD1230 running 4.6.43 firmware along with the Beta version 3.7.0.12 of BrightAuthor. My iPhone is a 4s. Not sure how to check what version the app is but I don't see any updates available.

Thanks,

Jesse

I am having the same issues. Tried on three different models, all with both diagnostic and local network set up, can access in any browser, all upd commands show up on ipad but no user variables, just get  "404 not found Missing Handler". can access the Diagnostics from the iPad.

An answer would be good on this one.

Did you specify user name and password for the local and diagnostic web servers when creating setup files for the player? If yes, please recreate setup files, but this time leave the username and password fields empty, and retest. Update the firmware on the XD1230 to version 4.6.46, update BrightAuthor software to version 3.7.0.14, and use it to create and publish a project with variables.

I have set up exactly as stated, all firmware and software is updated, I have left the user name and password blank for the local web server however the user name in the enable diagnostic web server is greyed out and wont let me delete it, I don't think this is a problem though as this works on the iPad.  It is only the variables that don't work. UPD works fine.

I have since downgraded BrightAuthor to  v 3.5.0.31 and it all works as it should.  The issue with doing this is you cant change the look of the iPad as that option is not available in v 3.5.0.31.

I then upgraded and followed the same set up as in v 3.5.0.31 and I get the same problem

A new version of the app is now on the appstore, 1.0.1. Please retest.
