Display a Simple Text File

I have an XD230 that I bought to see how it will work for us and for starters I just want to display a simple text file.  From what I can see Zone 1 has to be an image file.  Am I missing something?

    You can display text file in the Ticker zone. Under Media Library click on the "Text" tab, browse to a folder with .txt file, drag .txt file into a playlist area, save and publish a presentation.

    Hi,does it work on HD 220? I tried locating my .txt under Text tab, but found it no avail.

    You could also try HTML5 but the type of solution depends on how you would like the text content to be displayed on the screen.

    Yes, it works on all BrightSign players.  The file extension must be .txt - otherwise it will not appear in the Text tab.
