Video/Audio Playback stutters

I recently installed a HD210 for a customer. I was testing the device several weeks before, and it worked out perfectly fine. But since I've installed it for the customer, the video playback stutters, as does the audio (but not always at the same time, thats why the audio is out of sync too). For serveral reasons I can't take the HD210 back to my office to see if its working there. Unfortunately I have no other device around, but I just ordered one. In the meantime I was thinking if there are any possible factors that can influence the playback in such a way? Like for example other technical equipment, voltage,... (I am asking because the HD210 is build into a big rack with a lot of other technical equipment, could that be a problem? And if so: What can I do?)

This looks like a problem with the video encoding, or your video is out of the supported specs. Please install the free utility called mediainfo, use it to open your video, and send the full specs of your video file to support@brightsign.biz. You can download mediainfo from this page: mediainfo.sourceforge.net

Please install the latest beta firmware on the HD210 and retest playback. You can download the firmware from our support site: http://support.brightsign.biz/entries/314637-brightsign-downloads

This could also be a problem with the SD card. Test with SDHC card class 6 or higher if available (Transcend SD cards are not recommended).

I updated to the latest firmware, encodd the files exactly as described in the FAQ, an -as I said - it worked perfectly fine with exactly those setting for several weeks. So there are only tthree possibilities left I can think of: 1. The HDMI cable is broken, 2. the power cable is broken, 3. the whole brightsign hd210 is broken. I am checking the first two possibilities, hope its one of those.

Occasionally the BrightSigns can play the video files that are out of the supported specs. Please send the full details about your video file (output from the mediainfo application) or, if possible, provide a link to download your video, so we can test playback in our labs.
