Text Zone Overlay

How do you, or can you overlay a text zone over other zones?  When I have it overlapping other zones I was getting a flicker.

    Text is transparent over videos. You cannot easily overlay text on top of images because you can't make the text zone transparent over an image. And, when the image changes, the text zone would blink out and then back in again. You can set a text item or text zone to match the background color of an image, but it's not transparent when you put a text zone over an image zone.

    You can overlay text over video easily. Or, if you remove the main green zone and replace it with a background only zone, any text zone above the background image zone is transparent. But you can't put videos above the background zone.

    I'd like to put an RSS ticker zone over an image zone, but I only want the ticker zone to appear if there is an RSS news item; otherwise I want the ticker zone to be entirely transparent.  (I want to have emergency messages pop up over the normal content.)  Is there a way to do this?  I'm running HD210 and HD1010 units with firmware version 3.11.7.  Thanks in advance for a reply.

    You can display a fixed text or RSS feed using the LiveText widget.

    When you want to hide a text, you can transit from the LiveText state to Event Handler, transparent image or empty LiveText object.

    You can trigger a playback of a LiveText element using a timer or any other input command / interactive event supported by your brightsign model.
