XD230 Simple File Networking - File Size Mismatch

I have a BrightSign XD230 (running the 4.7.96 firmware) device that I am having trouble getting to work over Simple File Networking.  I have gotten this device to work under Standalone mode, but have yet to get working while connecting to my server.

Starting from scratch, after I setup my brightsign unit from the software and get those files on my SD card, I save and publish my presentation (using the Simple File Networking tab in the software) to a separate folder then upload those files directly to my website (link to it with the published files here: http://apbrightsign.netai.net/simple/).

I enabled debugging so I can see whats going on, because when I turn on the XD230 with the SD card in all I get is a blank screen.  I let it run for a few minutes - but just constant blank screen.  After checking the logs, it says:

L=d T=2013/10/16 11:01:00.494 I=1015 D=http://www.apbrightsign.netai.net/simple/current-sync.xml
L=d T=2013/10/16 11:01:00.656 I=1001 D=YES

L=d T=2013/10/16 11:01:04.925 I=1016 D=autoplugins.brs 0
L=d T=2013/10/16 11:01:05.020 I=1010 D=autoplugins.brs File size mismatch
L=d T=2013/10/16 11:01:05.025 I=1011 D=At least one file could not be satisfied

I've checked and the files are exactly the same size, so I'm not sure why that error is popping up.  Does anyone know why this is happening, or could provide help to get this device working over Simple File Networking?  Thank you!

    That error means the file has changed between when it was published and uploaded to the web server. I would delete the files from your web folder, and make sure your ftp software is set to use binary transfer method instead of audio or ascii. Either those two last two settings can cause files to change slightly.

    Thank you for this forum, it really works like a charm. the FTP software was in "Auto mode" for the transfer and it had to be changed to "binary" that was the problem. I spent a entire day thinking that something was wrong.

    I put in about 10 hours over the last month troubleshooting on my server trying to figure out why this wouldn't work...

    It was this setting in both Tansmit and FileZilla. Works great now!
