I very often use schedules on single BS players. Most of the time my customers don't have available internet connexions or local NTP server.
As I don't need to have precise time accuracy, I use the small script you have posted before to approximatly setup the time on the players.
It would be nice to have the ability to use a "SYNC time to PC" button with BA or on the webserver of the Brightsign to setup the time by the LAN.
Also another button in the BS webserver to ask the PLAYER to display TIME and DATE on the screen instead of the local presentation would be nice !
Also:
I don't know why but it seems that the script to set time and date does not work on the XD1030 (with last firmware).... maybe the script I use is too old and it has changed or maybe it is a bug? (Or maybe I'm mistaking!...)
