Audio sync with AU320 player

Hi, we have to synchronize 8 audio zones and we would like to know if we can, and if is easy, use AU320 audio player, since it is cheaper than XD230.

    According to the AU320 cut sheet you should be able to. However we ran into a problem where we were not able to use the sync commands despite them being available within BrightAuthor. See attached screen shots.

    You can't sync audio across AU320 units. This isn't supported.

    It may then pay to disable the options with BrightAuthor when a AU320 is selected and update you advertising cut sheets. To avoid confusion.

    Audio sync isn't recommended as it will likely not be sync'd close enough to be "good". That's why the synchronize events can't be added to the audio files. Synchronize event is only supported when the target is an image or a video. AU320 can be used in conjunction with a HD220 or 1020 that is sending network (UDP) commands for state changes. You can use UDP input event to trigger audio playback on AU320 - allows you to coordinate playback across the network units. We don't guarantee perfect sync in this case.
