I am setting up a presentation where I need it to start running at 0400 and end at 0100. This gives the unit and projector time to relax for a bit. I also need to control turning on the projector at those same time. I am getting stumped as to how to make to turning on of the display to corresponed to the schedule and also I can only select from 5 am to 12 am for times. Can you help guide me in the right direction. I am using BrightAuthor to progam the system.

Also I need to speak to the projector using HexCode. It's a Christie LWU420. I have looked into the serial strings for the HD120 and it says I can only send either ASCII or Binary. What is the work around for getting the HexStrings to the projector.
You will set a schedule in BrightAuthor (Publish tab) before you publish a presentation. Make sure you're using the latest BrightAuthor and firmware versions available on support site. Take a look at this tutorial: http://www.brightsign.biz/index.php/tutorials/tutorials/#serialcontrols
You can schedule when the Brightsign turns the projector on and off on any models, that support scheduling. You can use a separate project to turn off/on the screen. See this video for details: https://www.brightsignnetwork.com/download/Videos/Schedule%20-MonitorOFf-On.zip

Attached is another quick video that shows how to create a simple presentation for a brightsign unit that will power on a projector at specific time of the day (based on when presentation starts playing - this time is specified in schedule in BrightAuthor, under Publish tab), play image for 1 hour, and then power a projector off.
The above information is totally useful with the exception that under the advanced commands I do have selections for sending serial bytes. Lke I mentioned ealier I am using and HD-120. Where are the rest of the commands I need for the advanced features?
