What file path should I use?

I have BrightAuthor on a PC, but there is no SD card reader on that computer. So, I am moving the files to my Mac, which does have an SD card reader. I am making very simple programs, but none of them are working. My BrightSign player is just playing the files on the card but ignoring the program. So, here are my questions:

1. Is using my Mac to put the files on the SD card messing things up?

2. Can I open the bpf file in a text editor and just change the file path (and to what)?

3. The media be in a subfolder on the SD card?

Thanks!

    Hi Aaron,

You need to publish a presentation to empty folder on your computer, copy the folder and move it to a Mac computer, insert SD card in Mac, copy all files from the folder to the root directory of SD card, insert SD card in the brightsign unit and power it up. See details in BrightAuthor User Guide (page 84 - Publishing with Local Storage).

Please send a print screen of what is on the SD card. Also go to help - about BrightAuthor and let us know what version do you use.

    Aaron,

Why don't you buy a USB SD-card reader? Less than ten dollars or euros. My laptop has an SD slot but I use an USB reader because the SD-card slot is hard to reach. Works fine!
