Hello all! New here, just discovered the brightsign units a month ago and having lots of fun with them so far.

Just starting to investigate if it is possible to control the brightsign units from OSC (thinking of using an ipad with TouchOSC as a control surface). There is an old post that gives some hints on how to do it, but I just wanted to know if anyone actually has managed to do this before I go down this road.

(btw, brightsign people: it will be awesome if the units have native osc control!)

  Is touchosc a udp control app? If so, see below for details...

   

  You can create your own commands to control the unit over serial or udp. You can do this either using brightauthor where the serial or udp strings you use are up to you. The strings can be used to change from one file to another.

  I'm including a link to a video that shows you how you can send commands to playlists created using brughtauthor.
