I'm using the brightsign 1010 unit to display an mp4 file. The file is 1920x1080 rendered by After Effect. The display is 5 46 inch lcd screens with maximum resolution of 1360x768. Each screen display 1/4 of the video and the 4 are arranged as a 4 vertical video wall screen.
When I use the brightsign player the picture is blurred but using the same file with a PC (Intel 3650 HD Video Card) the picture is sharp. The brightsign is authored using brightauther project with the 1360x768 resolution. When I author the project in 1920x1080 60p I get a sharp picture but there are lots of flickering. I know the best will be 1920x1080 29.9 but the screen (LCD) does not support it.
Is there anything I can do to get a sharp picture using the 1010 unit and if not would an upgrade to the XD models will make a different? How come a computer can produce the sharp picture with no flickering at all? Both player and computer are using the HDMI port for video and there is no audio.
Attached a mediainfo of the file media that i'm using
