Dynamic Playlist, Slide Transitions not working

I have two dynamic playlists in a presentation each with photos with fade to next image transition. The published project just cuts to each image. I've triple checked that the dynamic playlists are setup with fades between each image.

    Transitions between images are supported if images are added to the zone directly, bypassing a Dynamic Playlist.

    If images are included in a Dynamic Playlist, you can't do transitions between them in GUI. This functionality is not currently available in BA and web UI. See the directions in this thread on how to apply the transitions to the images:
