Can BrightSign XD display HTML Slider page like this ... without any issues?

  Yes, it can. I've just tested this page on XD unit (firmware 4.4.75) and it works.

  The XD unit plays the second page you sent.

  I noticed a small issue (artifact) during playback, the images at the top of the screen sometimes aren't refreshed properly. I recorded a video from the screen that is connected to my brightsign, and attached the images. I think this issue could be fixed.

   We will release new firmware for XD devices shortly with various improvements regarding html5 support (transitions, animations).
