Two screen setup with one of them being touch enabled

Hi,

I have a two screen setup, one 19" with touch and the other is regular 40". The screens are playing a movie in a screen saver mode, once the customer touches the 19" touch screen both the 19" and the 40" start playing a different movie. Both time the 19" and the 40" paly the same content.

What player / players configuration will be ideal for this type of setup?

You need 2 networked brightsign players of the same generation. One player should have a built-in usb port to connect a touch screen. The ideal configuration will be 2 XD units (for example XD1030 and XD230). HD1020 and HD220 will also do the job. Also you need a standard ethernet cable to connect players with each other.

Last year we completed a project with similar requirements.  It consists of a 15" touchscreen "menu" that controls a 42" LCD for information / video playback.  To accomplish this we used two HD220 units and programmed them with BrightAuthor so that the touchscreen unit sends UDP messages to the playback unit.  Linking the two together this way worked great, and there was no noticeable delay.

My apologies, we used one HD1020, and one HD220 as BrightSign Support suggested in their reply, not two HD220's.
