XD players SDHC/SDXC and MicroSD Slots Question

Does one card slot take precedence over the other in the XD players?

If there is a MicroSD card installed, is the SD slot disabled?

For example, if I have a unit running with a MicroSD card, and power off and insert a SD card with a firmware update, and re-power the player, will it ignore the SD card because it has a MicroSD card? Or perform the firmware update, and then go back to the content on the MicroSD card?

Mainly, how does the XD players handle priority between the 2 slots?

    Yes, the SD card slot takes precedence over the MicroSD.

    No, the slot is not disabled the player will check the SD card first for a FW or autorun.brs file but if it does not find either it will just display the BrightSign splash screen. If you want the player to boot from the MicroSD again you'll need to remove the SD card from the player and reboot.
