I am wondering if BSN has a "SuperAdmin" option (havent found anything about it so far so i think no)?
We will (try to) sell as many BS players as we can, to a lot of different users. Some will be bigger (lots of BS's scattered around) and some will be smaller. Of course we will incourage the use of BSN beacuse it makes life easyer for all of us. Indoubtedly some users will take care of their own systems, but not all. From out experiences with customers, at any sign of trouble (or for those users that will not create content themselves, but will be provided by us) will contact us for support. So we would like to be able (through) BSN to reach all the players we installed. But of course all customers would be able to see and manage only their players (with publishers, creators etc.).
From our experience a lot of users would also prefer to channel the payments for BSN through us. In this case a "master account" tied to us, with users for our customers would be the easyest way to operate. This could be acomplished with groups (one group for each BS system-customer, and users that can only access the designed group). But of course the users might also need to group the players in their own system. BSN at this moment does not support subgrouping so, this is not an option.
Another way I can think of would be to make an user for each of the accounts (customers) we support, but this would mean we would have to "remember" all the account names. The managing of BSN subscriptions for players on different accounts would also be quite hard, because we would need to log in from time to time into each account to check the subscriptions.
I believe that a "SuperAdministrator" account would be great for managing and troubleshooting multiple customers.
I would also like to know what is the 1GB transfer mentioned for the subscriptions? In the webinars it is mentioned that the BNS accounts are not transfer limited, but the in the price list our distributor states "inclusive 1 GB Data transfer per month". What happens if a players exceeds this transfer (with Full HD and coming 4k) videos this is quite doable.
