Hi,
Can I show in one of zone the images from folder (just scroll many images).
I tried to use Image Play File, but it "can not be the initial state".
Thank you for any help you can provide in this situation.

Lyndon You can use an event handler as your starting state. But, playfile doesn't play everything in a folder. It listens for a command to play a single file. Playing a folder could probably be done using a plugin. I have an untested plugin currently with a play folder feature, just haven't had a chance to work out the bugs yet. When do you need this?

Alla Hulovata Thanks for help. It isn't very urgent, I just want to figure out how I can make something interesting with this program. I know HTML5, but I didn't try to use it. I didn't completely recognize how how is working demo with sushi and other :(
I need to scroll the different pictures in folder (many pictures). It is very useful, if you will send me the plugin and explain it.

Alex In our future software version (BrightAuthor 3.8) there will be ability to populate the image/video/audio lists from the media library or data feed. So you just point to a folder on your computer which contains pictures, hit 1 button and all images will be added to the list. Or you create a data feed (rss feed), update images in the webfolder, update data feed and unit automatically downloads new content. We expect BrightAuthor 3.8 within the next month.

Lyndon Are you saying you want to put a folder on the sd card, and then power up the unit with a published playlist that will just play what's in the folder?

Bryn Forbes Sr. Support America, from what I have tried and understand, what he is saying is not what you are looking for. you have to create a presentation in brightauthor and add an element that is an image playlist, and there is a button there to load all images in a folder in to that image playlist. when you export your presentation, it will export those images to a folder on the sd card. However if you then change the images in the folder it won't play those, only the ones that you added to the playlist when you create the presentation.
If you want automatic playing of files, you can put files in the root directory of the sd card (e.g. f:\) and it will play them alphabetically. Unfortunately it plays them quite fast (and seems to zoom in to the center portion of the file to fill the screen). I have seen references to editing an autorun.bas file that you can put on the sd card to control the speed and other parameters so you could fix that but haven't figured out where to get that file just yet.

You can send a play!file or play!folder command using a plugin. The unit will then play the file or folder specified. The plugin doesn't currently let you specify the zone to play the content in, but it works if you're playing back content full screen.
