Sync MRSS Feeds

We using most of the time the HD220 model, with mrss feeds. We want to use the HD220 via mrss in a videowall 2 rows and 2 collums. The easyest way to give them content would be in our case to put this in a mrss feed.

We would use 4 boxes with one master and three slaves all of them have another mrss feed. Is it possible to sync the four mrss feeds so that all four boxes start to play the mrss feeds in the same moment? Maybe some extra coding?

Thank you!

    Hey Jan,

I am curious if you ever got any answers for this question. I am trying to do the same thing over 98 HD220 and HD1020 units. I can do sync perfectly with the original videos. But now I am trying to use MRSS feeds and none of the methods I have used work for the MRSS feeds. Does anyone have any advice?

We have the same requirement. Using 40 XD230 units. Different sites and would like to run the same video at the same time on all the screens per site at least.

Did anyone get back to you yet?

(We are also using our devices with Simple File networking)

    Thanks

To achieve accurate synchronization on the brightsign units, they must be connected to the same local network via ethernet, and you should send sync commands from master to slave.

Synchronization over internet and synchronization of mrss feeds is not supported.

For non-accurate sync, you can schedule the presentations to play at the same timeframes on all players, and setup the players to sync their internal clock with the same timeserver.

    For example:

    presentation1 with mrss1 will play from 10am to 11am

    presentation2 with mrss2 will play from 11am to 1pm

    etc.
