I have setup and published a large (20+Gb) presentation video to my player's (XD1230) SD card. The player was originally configured on one Wi-Fi network, but the client wishes to move it to a new SSID and passphrase, as well as make a couple other minor config changes. Is it possible to adjust the settings via BrightAuthor without wiping out or having to republish the entire presentation?

^UD\_$ Although we have never tried that, you could do the following:
Eject the existing SD card
prepare a setup SD card with the new SSID settings, and insert to player.
Bootup the player
Turn off player
Insert the SD card with large presentation.
I'm assuming that WIFI settings are stored in the registry, and are independent of your presentation.
I hope that helps.

Bob Manjoney Thank you for your help, but forgive my newbie question - how do I determine whether the Wi-Fi settings are stored in the registry? Do these registry settings persist between power-cycles? I'm assuming they must given your instructions.
If it matters, I created the setup on SD using the BrightAuthor desktop application.

W Buchanan Bob:
Your network settings definitely are stored in the unit's registry. To confirm this, you can download and run the diagnostic script provided here:
Since you'll be running the script from an otherwise blank SD card, the network settings displayed by the diagnostic must be read from the XD1230's registry.
