Pause and resume for audio

Hello Brightsign

I'm currently doing a project for our museum about music culture and history and the museum guides wish to play back audio examples in the exhibition from our XD1030 players.

However I have to convert all of the files to .mov in order to be able to pause and resume the playback

Is it possible to add pause and resume for audio files and 'Audio play files'? Like I can do with 'Video play files' by adding a udp command.

Fast Forward and Goto fundtions are also a wish from the guides.

    Yes, it's possible. If you want to pause and resume audio playback using UDP commands, you can add UDP Input events to the audio files or 'Audio Play File' states, and add 'pause/resume video' commands to the corresponding UDP events. Please note, there's one condition - the audio files must be placed in the Video zone, because 'pause/resume video' commands do not work in the Audio zone.

    Fast Forward functionality isn't available in BrightAuthor.

    Goto function can be implemented using the Audio Play File state.
