We have a total of 10 HD series Brightsign players in a corporate environment. Nine of them are connected to a 3x3 matrix "video wall" and the other one is connected to a 55" display in portrait mode.
For the portrait display, I'd like to have announcements and other information displayed for our employees. This information will change from day to day. Our thought is to have a custom background image with text overlaid on it. Using the ticker seems to work but I'm having trouble just getting a paragraph (with line breaks) of standard text to display properly. Ideally, the text would have a transparent background (80% black). This seems like it should be easy to accomplish but I can't seem to figure it out. I need to be able to type, paste, or use a txt file as a source so it's easy to update.
Does BrightAuthor even support this?
