After following the BSNEE installation guide I have a working server, but I nor any of my colleagues can fathom the relationship between AD and the accounts created in Brightsign structure. A normal Integration would allow me create AD Security groups mapped to roles in BSNEE then to populate these AD security groups with users. BSNEE would synchronize with AD, pulll down the users and provide SSO so that the users would be auto logged in from their browser into the BSNEE with the correct role.
The admin account user can login as can the user administrator account using forms based authentication - which does pass the auth request to AD- but that's it, no other accounts and also no SSO
I have approached Brightsign support for help - but no answers
I have rang Brightsign (sales as their is no phone support) and of course got a voicemail.
If anyone in the forum can help me with an explanation of how the AD integration works and the relationshiip between AD and Brightsign accounts I would much appreciate it.
