Bought a HD120 - cannot setup....

Hi, just bought a HD120. The memory card is a class 10 SDHC (16gb). I have formatted it using fat 32 default allocation size. I close the hd120 unit, insert the card and then insert the powercable. I have tried to use the latest firmware and also the beta brightsign-hd-6.0.9-update.bsfw . Still no completed update. I have used my tv as a monitor. The first time when I tried to install the firmware (not beta version) the brightsign firmware version came up on the screen. Now, once the unit reboots itself after the upgrade of firmware the screen displays invalid format. I am not sure what I am doing wrong.

Grateful for all help.

If you power up the HD120 without SD card, do you see the brightsign logo on the screen? Try to create a presentation in BrightAuthor, publish it to SD card and test it on the player.

I have an XD1033 player that give the error: Invalid format message. This happens whether the SD card is in it or not. They are not getting the BrightSign logo.

Your display doesn't like the resolution and/or refresh rate you chose for the presentation.

How does the player show in your BrightSign Network account.

    Has it successfully connected?

Can other players connect to BSN from the same subnet?

You can confirm access to BSN with the Connectivity Checker
