Hi. I have a MP4 video that plays back correctly on my Mac, but after I publish to a single video / push button project with BrightAuthor, the audio/video is quite out of sync. Please advise.

Alex Hi,
Download MediaInfo program (http://mediaarea.net) and use it to open the video file. Select "View - Text", copy and paste the details about the file to a notepad document, and attach .txt file with the video specs to this thread.
Download Bitrate Viewer program (http://www.winhoros.de/docs/bitrate-viewer/download.html), open your video in Bitrate Viewer and send us a screenshot with the results.
What firmware version is installed on your LS422 device? Boot the device without SD card. It will show the firmware version on the screen. -
Fred Lochner I am using firmware version: 5.1.54

Brandon According to the info, your audio is VBR (variable bitrate) AAC, which is not supported.
Please re-encode using CBR (constant bitrate) AAC.http://support.brightsign.biz/entries/143768-What-audio-formats-does-the-BrightSign-support-

Fred Lochner Thank you for the reply.
Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be a way to set "CBR" for audio from within Adobe Premiere's rendering settings. Incidentally, setting "CBR" in the video tab still renders a video that is labeled "VBR" in MediaInfo.
As it does not seem to be an exotic workflow to use Premiere to render videos for Brightsign, maybe someone can help me out with achieving the above requirements.
Please note, I've produced videos with identical settings in the past and have had no problem with Brightsign. The only difference during testing this project is that I am testing on a 720p TV as opposed to a 1080p. Could this make a difference?

Alex Please update firmware on LS422 to the latest version 6.0.9 and retest. Link to downloads page: https://www.brightsign.biz/downloads/ls-devices/

Fred Lochner 6.0.9 didn't help.

Brandon Those settings look okay.

If you have the option, you can try outputting to a QuickTime MOV and use QuickTime's H.264 and audio compressors. -
Fred Lochner Sorry, but I believe the problem was user error. Within Presentation Settings in BrightAuthor, video resolution was set to 1080p 60fps. My video is 29.97 fps. Correcting this setting to 1080p 29.97 fps seems to have resolved the issue.
It is however noteworthy that VBR does not seem to be an issue.
