I have a new XD1132. I updated the firmware to the latest production release (as of 1/19/16) and set up the player for standalone use. I've deployed these before but on BrightSign Network. After setting it up for Standalone, I was unable to get a presentation loaded. After several tries, I was able to get a simple photo slideshow presentation onto the player. I then created a new presentation and published for USB update. I connected my USB thumbdrive to the player and the player downloaded the content and played as scheduled. Perfect.
I then wanted to reconfigure the player for BrightSign Network and went thru the appropriate steps. After having some networking issues, I decided to go back to Standalone. Here is where I am having a problem. I created a new Set up SD Card with Standalone settings. loaded it into the player, the screen said standalone config ready, remove card. Then I went back to BS Author and published my presentation/schedule with setup again to the SD Card. The player will not play my content. I then tried to use the USB thumb drive to update the content as I originally did and it is not downloading from the USB thumbdrive. The BrightSign player is just stuck on the splash screen.
Please help.
