I've been trying to set up the BrightControl Monitor On/Off commands in BrightAuthor to get a presentation running on a 4K 1042 to turn an ELO monitor connected via HDMI on/off at the beginning and end of the day. I've already gone through the steps outlined in this post, but I've had no success so far. When the presentation isn't playing, the screen is black, but the screen remains on. Do I need to use a different monitor or connection type? Any advice is appreciated.

Lyndon Please send the brightuathor projectd file you're using.
Have you tried using power save mode, an advanced command under the video category? Did you try both serial and cec commands?
