I have a station that mirrors a windows tablet to a TV through bluetooth and allows the presenter to walk around freely while selecting slides. Does anyone know of a solution with Brightsign that would mimic this setup?
Thanks in advance!

You could make the slides part of a BrightSign Interactive Presentation and then attach UDP commands to each slide. Then using a phone or tablet (on the same subnet/network as the BrightSign player) you could call each slide at will by pressing a button on a UDP app you can get from the Google Play store. I did something similar to this using a BrightSign 1032 player and the 'WiFi TCP/UDP' app I downloaded to the Salesman's Samsung phone. I had to set up the buttons and plug in the UDP "word" into each button on the app. This UDP word was also attached to each slide in the Interactive Presentation. Works very well.
Any recommendations from an iOS standpoint? I don't know if I understand the workflow completely, but I think it sounds really really useful. I'm excited to see how I can implement this!
We looked for an IOS app that allowed sending UDP. We found some that would let you type the UDP word in a box and hit send but that was cumbersome. The Android apps allowed me to assign UDP words to buttons. Then the Sales guy just pushed a button on the phone (got to keep it simple for Sales types...).
The iTunes appas were more for development use. Of course you could write your own app.
Actually now that I think about it, I wonder if I can accomplish the same with the Brightsign App?
Yes, you can. It isn't sexy but it works. The app will auto-discover the player. Once you login to that player it will show all of the UDP triggers you added to the Presentation running on that player. Just be sure to use UDP words that make sense as that is the only label you will see in the app.
You can also use CSS and HTML to customize the included device webpage. This way you can use a web browser from any device to control the BrightSign. I've done some crude experiments and it works well. The link below describes customizing and including the webpage to a presentation.
