HI,

Would you kindly clarify what you are trying to accomplish?
I'll try to explain. I have two players who plays a synchronized video. On one of the players, I use GPIO Output. I need to send commands during the video to activate a relay which controls the opacity glass order. It is for a museum in France. Usually I use an app with a timeline. Do you think is possible to do that.
thanks
Much clearer this time :)
There is a BrightAuthor Time Code Event, that you could use to change the GPIO state, at a given time code within the video. You would need to create synchronized presentations, without the use of BrightWall.
I hope that helps.

Thanks, I understand how to synchronize 2 brightsign without Brightwall.I don't understand how to use the time code events.

I use the GPIO with the first Brightsight, gpio output must be on during the first seconde, off during the next 30 second and on after.
Video on and video2 are the same.
thanks
Even if not accurate, this should get you started.
To turn on GPIO for the first second:
Double click your video, and click Advanced tab.
Click Add Command
From Commands dropdown list select GPIO
On
In the text box put your GPIO pin number.
Click OK
etc...
To further control GPIO based on video timing
Use a Video Time Code event on the same video.
Add two time code events.
Then first would turn off GPIO after 1000 milliseconds of video playback.
The second would turn on GPIO after 30000 milliseconds
Hopefully that works for you.
Thank you for your help. It's ok.
My pleasure :)
Hi guys,
I need to do exactly the same thing. I hope you read my questions.
How do I configure GPIO as an output? (By the time I finished this I found it; presentation properties)
What relay board did you use? Brightsign player only outputs 3.3V and most boards need 5V to work. Did you still have to use a external power supply to power up to relay board?
Thanks in advance!
