This is my first time of posting here, Sorry if I disobey the rules and regulation.
Anyway, some back ground Story...
I am task to repurpose an old XD1030 Bright Sign. Since I had no prior experience with the device, I had been trying and experimenting with the device to understand the inner working.. Every thing work fine until today when I try to test a new presentation I have just publish to the device.
maybe this may or may not be relevant, I am using the GPIO on the Bright Sign to interact with an Arduino DUE. I'm using GPIO 0 and 1 as an INPUT to trigger an event while GPIO 6 and 7 as an OUTPUT for the Bright Sign to notify the Arduino that a particular video had just finish. I'm using a projector to display my Video ( VGA ), does not use any Serial, Wifi or ethernet. I always remember to turn off The Bright Sign before taking out the SD card.
The Bright Sign Was working fine before I added a video to the SD card. Immediately after I added the new video, and put the SD card and power On the Bright Sign, There was no video shown on the screen. I look at the device and saw this 3 led is lit up.
The 3 led that lit up are, Wifi, Ethernet, and upload... as Shown in the pic below.
I been searching for the answer in both Google and also Bright Sign forum and FAQ... so far I found that, If the pwer led is not light up, It is in reset mode. The wifi will blink if searching for wifi, static if wifi had been connected and same goes to ethernet. This is rather mind blowing as I didnt use any of the wifi, ethernet or the Serial.
since the Update led is lit up, I wonder if the XD1030 needed a firmware update, Which I had downloaded and save in the SD card. I tried the pressing the reset button and also SVC switch too. Now in some other post, I read that to upload a autorun.( I can't remember the file format)... Supposedly after the autorun file is done in the Bright Sign, It will be erase... I open back the SD card in my laptop and sure enough the file is still there...
So I end this post asking, Is there a way/method I should do to be able to make the Bright Sign work again.. Or at least give me closure that this Bright Sign is gone forever.
P.S: I am home now.. so any suggestion I can only test tomorrow. Thanks in advance all.
