Serial GPS Input

I have serial GPS data I want to use with a HD1022. Is there a supported serial to USB converter for this unit or is there a way I can use the RS-232 port on the unit for GPS input? When I try to set serial port 0 to GPS receiver in the presentation properties the check box is grayed out.

    We support gps over usb.  A serial to usb wouldn't work for this at least not with our gps event. If it did work, the input from the usb to serial would show up as a serial port.
