editing and deleting folder using webinterface

Hello Forum

Is there a way to delete, create and edit a folders on the SD card remotely using the  web interface?

Or is there a way to delete everything on the SD card and upload a custom script and some folders?

I also tried to format the SD card which also does not seem possible because it is in use.

    You can't delete/edit/create folders on the SD card from web interface.

    to clarify you can upload, delete and rename files using the web interface

    you could (in theory) upload a custom autorun.brs file

    reboot the BS unit

    and then the code in the autorun.brs deletes all the files / folders on the SD card and creates the new folders you want.

    Not only in theory. You can use the "Format SD & Copy" script found here: http://support.brightsign.biz/hc/en-us/community/posts/209950357-Script-Examples-incl-Simple-Showcontrol-Script

    Just remove the copytree and copyroot part and other things as needed and upload it with the web interface. Then reboot.

    Tested. Worked. Thanks.
