XD1032, fw 6.0.51, 64g class 10 cf. We are running a simple interactive which was created in brightauthor. We are using an Iiyama touchscreen and have created active areas to change between slides. This is a setup we have used many times but this project seems to be a bit laggy. A good half second between button press and slide change. Slides are 1920 x 1080 jpeg.

Alex Is this a single zone or multi zone presentation? Does the size of the images match the size of the zone where they are located? Please test with firmware 6.1.76.

Allan Peacock Single zone presentation. I have not tried updating the firmware but 6.0.51 has been pretty rock solid from experience.

Alex You should check the size of the images. You should also update firmware.
And you can test the same presentation with a USB mouse to make sure the touchscreen doesn't produce a delay:
- power off the player and disconnect the touchscreen
- connect USB mouse to the player
- open presentation in BrightAuthor, go to File > Presentation Properties > Interactive > find 'Touch' section and set 'Always display cursor' > OK > For this presentation > OK.
- publish presentation to SD card
- power on the player with SD card and test
