We're wanting to send caption text to an external CaptionDisplay (http://www.captiondisplay.com/caption-displays/home).
Based on my research, Line21 support (captioning used for NTSC) isn't a part of the HDTV standard. Is there another way to embed captions similar to Line21 into an HDTV signal that could then be passed through to the CaptionDisplay from the BrightSign?
Alternatively, the CaptionDisplay can accept serial commands, but I don't see a way to time/sync serial commands with a video for when the text should change on the external display. If there is a way to do this, then that would solve our problem.
