BrightAuthor not opening fully

Bright Author is no longer opening as it opens the splash screen and then nothing happens; nothing is open in the taskbar, there are no processes there is nothing to show it had done anything. I have reinstalled the program, I have changed the registry files (see below), even downloaded the reg file that was mentioned in the same post where I got the registry adjustment, I am just very confused as it was working at one point. LINK to previous troubleshoot post.

  Was able to figure this out after looking at event viewer and seeing an authorization error. Turns out my user file directory in C:/Users/#name was hidden for some reason so the program wasnt able to verify my identity so it closed as a result. Ended up going to view and unhiding hidden folders and then going to properties of the file path and uncheck hide option.
