JRB Technical It depends on the project.
There is a "Preview" function in BrightAuthor, but it does not work for everything that the players can do. So depending on what you are doing in your project, some things may not work correctly or at all.

Brandon If you're doing anything more than just simple slideshows (no interactivity), I highly recommend having a player to preview/develop with. Not only will it save you from unpleasant surprises and chasing phantom issues, it also gives you a player on-hand in case you need to replace something.
