Hello Guys,
Does anyone from you experience in controlling (Power ON/OFF) of Casio XJ-A257 Projector with the use of HD1023.
From HD1023 I used 3.5mm Serial to RS232C and then I convert it RS232 to USB (goes to Projector) as shown in the attached picture. (Is this possible?)
I used for the command are:
Send Serial Byte, Comma Sep: Port 1 Bytes: 80,87,82,49
Serial String(EOL): Port 1 String: (blank)
But it doesn't work.
Please help
I'm not sure USB is what you need here.
Seems like a special adapter is required, as shown in the manual on page 83

It means I dont have any choice is to buy that cable. I thought I can able to use different cable since this cable need to be order separately.
Is there any other way that I can do so that I can controls that projector.

IR could work too, but doesn't seem to be easier in this case.
