After a few days our XD233 displays a black screen

Hello Bright sign community 

Setup

The project is to act as a gallery displaying images from a computer which is connected to in the same network . In this project we have 2 XD233 players installed on site, which each connected to a projector. Each XD233 player has a nearly identical program installed on each, with the difference being which images they will display. The gallery is being done through an html program installed on the players, and up until the end of last year this setup was working fine. The client will turn off all the power to the setup at the end of the week, so it will not always be running. 

Problem

The problem is that after a few days of running this setup, the left projector will display a black screen but the right projector will keep working without a problem. This has occurred 3 times already in the past 3 months. Both have the exact same firmware version, 6.2.63.2. Attached are the logs and the projects for both the left and right projectors.

Temporary solution

When solving this issue, from remote access, we would reload the project on to the left projector and the setup will be up and running within a few minutes, with no fiddling of the cables or projector. We have swapped the software uploaded to with each player, and the left one still has the same issue.From these results we believe the issue does not lie within our setup or software but the player itself. 

We will also be going on site to try to look at the hardware. We will try to change the SD card, and reload the a new version our project. 
 
I have sent a support email ticket along side this post.

Would anyone know what could be causing this? Would this be an issue with the hardware, or software?

    I believe you also have a case. If this is the same issue, I found errors in the left log indicating possible problems with the sd card, fat errors. I would try another card or reformatting, and retesting.

    I'm seeing a similar issue...

    I've setup a presentation that has been running for months without issue, but after recently moving the player to a new location, the presentation will run overnight, but in the morning it's sitting on a blank screen showing my primary background color (blue), but no content.

    If I view the snapshots via BrightAuthor or via DWS, it appears as if the presentation is still running fine. If I reboot the XT244, the presentation pops back up immediately and runs for the rest of the day. I'm stumped.

    The XT244 is running the latest firmware 8.0.119 and it's connected to a NEC X555UNV display @ 1080p, which is definitely an additional variable, as I develop on a regular desktop monitor at 1080p.

    Ideas? I can email logs to your support team if requested.

    I'm having the same issue with an HTML5 presentation running google slides.  Random black screens, can't resolve the issue.

    The system log from the player is the first thing to look at to see if there are any errors reported when playing back content. Next steps is looking at the javascript console on the player, if enabled, to see if there are any errors related to loading html assets being reported.

    So our fix 2 years ago to this problem was simply replacing the SD on site, we haven't had this issue since. Granted the client only runs the program only 2-3 days of week, so its not used all the time. Didn't reply since it was a quick and easy fix.
