We are using model HD223 and wondering if there is a way to post a 3 day weather forecast. We currently use the weather underground widget that posts the current city/temperature/weather conditions via html5 image. Fairly new to BrightSign so the simpler the better.

Tammy Raabe I, too, am interested in a weather widget! I JUST began using BrightAuthor, with XT1143. Amy, why are you switching from the WU widget? That's what I was thinking about (or AccuWeather) for my weather widget.

Amy Smallwood I'm happy to stay with WU, I just was hoping to easily add a 3 day forecast, the WU widget we currently use just shows current conditions/temperature, I don't know if the forecast piece is doable with WU.

Lyndon There are weather services like ds-weather or screenfeed that offer a variety of weather feeds as a service. They would provide a url that would deliver the weather information you.
I don't have a readymade 3 day forecast widget. I know some free weather services might. The problem with those is there are limits on how you use it and if they make a change to their data or how the free widget works, then your service might break.
