'Whiteboard' capabilities

I have a client who is interested in using a HD1023 to behave like a whiteboard with a touchscreen.

There are some higher-end touchscreens with whiteboard capabilities and windows 10 works well with a touchscreen, but my client likes the idea that they could display useful information in one section and have a whiteboard that people could sketch on with their fingers in the other half. Not trying to save the sketches or anything more advanced at this point.

Has anyone made anything like this? Would a brightsign player with USB input lend itself well to this kind of use?

I'm not familiar with such an application, but I assume that's all it would be, some html application that lets you draw on the screen. There's nothing that would prevent you from doing this on an HD1023 and touchscreen. It's just a question of how responsive the whiteboard application needs the unit to be.
